MP Motz launches Youth Advisory Board focused on getting young people engaged in politics

Glen Motz, Member of Parliament for Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner, is once again holding a non-partisan Youth Advisory Board. This is an opportunity for young people from the riding to contribute ideas, suggestions, and provide feedback on topics within their communities that are important to them as well as issues being discussed on Parliament Hill.

The Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner (MHCW) Youth Advisory Board will consist of youth ages 16-24 from the riding who are passionate about having a voice and becoming a leader in their community.

Youth selected to sit on the MHCW Youth Advisory Board will serve a one-year term, starting in October 2018, and those who successfully complete this initiative will receive a letter of commendation.

“I believe that every voice matters and that’s why I want to give our youth a seat at the table,” Motz said. “As your Member of Parliament, I want to hear from our young people about what matters most to them and encourage them to become empowered leaders in their communities.”

This is a non-partisan opportunity and youth of all political backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The on-line application can be found here and is due by October 3rd, 2018.
